Forming part of Small Business Britain’s f:Entrepreneur campaign, the #iAlso100 champions the unique impact of multi-achieving female business owners, who lead purpose-driven businesses and support their communities along the way through volunteering, mentoring, and other community initiatives.
“It was amazing to be invited to The House of Lords and celebrate my achievements, as an entrepreneur and share the success of being named on #ialso100 list for 2024 with fellow women business owners. It has to be one of the highlights of the year so far!”

Becoming an exhibiting artist
Did you know that if you walk through the corridors of the UHCW Hospital there is a series of art works on display?
They have over 100 meters of hanging space dedicated to art created by local artists and established groups within the community.
I am proud to say that I was invited as a local artist to exhibit a selection of my prints to go on display on the First Floor (Also known as the Long Gallery).
There are a series of eight prints to view with an opportunity to purchase. With a percentage of the sales going towards the
Healing Arts Charity at UHCW that helps support patient recovery and wellbeing through the provision of a range of activities, including visual arts, music and bedside crafts.
Contact me, if you would like to find out more about my prints.

Of course specific colours had to be used. Not to mention a flamingo, which was in keeping with the current festive window display.
It's always a great please for me to step away from creating digitally.

Exciting News

At the begining of April 2022, I took part in an Art Workshop through Art Alert to create a circular panel about my experience of the Covid pandemic. This would then be submitted with other entries. If chosen, it would be created as wooden panel that then would form part of the amazing memorial structure designed by David Best called, 'Sanctuary'. It would stand in Bedworth's Miners' Welfare Park for a week. and then be burned.
Thinking back during the height of the pandemic, I remember how I used to sit socially distanced on my mum's brick wall. Being able to see her ,but not hug her or go into her home. So I decided to create a panel with a silhouette of just the two of us sitting on her front garden wall.
To my surprise when I was invited to go and see the structure, I realised that my submission was chosen to be part of the community panel and created into a wooden circular panel.
